So amazing ^^

Really awesome idea!!

It started as a normal day...

So many things happened recently.... I'm not going to name them all. AT least not in this post :P

Today for instance:

My first class started at 8.30am in Duisburg. About an hour earlier I had to leave the house.... too early for my taste though I have to admit that it looked kinda nice outside (at least this morning).My class supposedly ends at 11.45am. 

One thing here: My next class was at 12.15pm in Essen.

NConsidering it takes at least 45min (if your'e lucky) to get from one Campus to another, that's not exactly managble, is it?!

well well then, I had to leave my first class early. Arriving there we still had to find to find the right room. In Essen that can be quite a task. After some wrong turns we finally managed to get there in time. Guess what?! All the effort wasted as the prof was tied up with business. Nice, huh?!

I was actually looking forward to this class: Forensic Linguistics. 

But who am I to cry about more free time, right?!

Later that day I went back to the university to participate at my friend's study.

He sort of invented some apps for smartphones. Therefore he needs some guinea pigs to try his software. 

My opinion: Couple months of work were definitely worth it!

I was kinda looking forward to be using it myself. Knowing my friend, I did have some expectations. Afterwards I have to say: it sort of blew me away. SO much fun and so pretty awesome. ^____^

Just you wait and see in a few years he'll be famous and all (He might even forget about the little people, who knows ;)

It sure is a highlight. Perfect day for quite a nice day.

So I thought. Who knew my roomie had another surprise waiting for me.

She didn't exactly intend toshow it to me... but once revealed, no point of hiding it any more.... way too funny :D

A few years ago she was part of a reality show: living in the 50s!

Yupp you heard right.

It is astonishingly honest and therefore truly funny (for me at least ;) )

Enough details here I think... a lot to dream about tonight

My friends didn't like it that much whereas I really did.
Sofia Coppola always does an incredible job. Creating a special atmosphere uncomparable to any other movies you have seen. I really like her "style". Truly awesome! 
FYI: Music is by Phoenix.
Also I need to mention here: know that not everyone might like that movie ( I sure do). So afterall for me a good monday!

Tuesday: I saw my wonderful friend M. whom I met in California.
I still can't believe that was just 2 days ago. We were constantly talkin only takin enough breaths to keep on doing just that very same thing. Very crazy. Lots of laughter and awesomeness. Can't wait to see her hopefully pretty soon ^^ Love these kinds of reunions, one should have them more often!

Meine Freunde haben es nicht so gemocht, aber ich schon sehr.
Sofia Coppola kriegt es immer super hin. Sie kreiert eine ausserordentliche Atmosphaere unvergleichbar zu irgendwelchen anderen Filmen, die man gesehen hat. Ich mag ihren "Stil". Wirklich unglaublich!
Nebenbei bemerkt: Die Musikl ist von Phoenix.
Da muss ich dabei sagen: Beachtet, dass wahrscheinlich nicht jeder den Film moegen wird (ich auf jeden). Also im grossen und ganzen ein guter Montag!

Dienstag: Ich habe meine wundervolle Freundin M. gesehen, die ich in California kennen gelernt habe. Ich kanns nicht glauben, dass das erst 2 Tage her ist. Wir waren nur am labern und habe gerade genug Luft geholt um weiterreden zu koennen. Sehr verrueckt. Viel Gelache und Wunderbarkeitliche Awesomeness. Kanns nicht abwarten sie hoffentlich bald wieder zu sehen ^^
Ich liebe diese Art von Wiedervereinigungen, man sollte sie oefters haben!

so got to hear the "original" sound haha... just like old times :P

Ukay startin off the film with the wrong size hmm... it's kinda strange to see the mic hangin from the ceiling haha no worries they fixed after realizin their mistake (took them just a few min haha)

wasn't perfect... that's what made it even better...ya we had a lot of fun n ice cream too
salty popcorn would have been the cherry on top (n ya the subtitles, didn't need those, some other's did haha)

Oh, so go and watch!! it's awesome... we sure liked it (C., L. and I)

war nicht perfekt... aber das machte das ganze umso besser... ya wir hatten viel Spass und auch noch Eis Konfekt dabei
salzige Popcorn haette es noch verfeinert ( und ja die Untertitel hab ich auch nich gebraucht, n paar andere schon haha)

Saturday: the movies.... E., M., C. & I chose to watch WS2. Good decision I'd say :) Also good: Ice-cream n tons of candy for dinner haha. Dude seriously, Nappo is awesome!!
Otherwise calm weekend... it was just sooo cold. I dislike that quite a lot. Also C. (my roomie) n me made some marble-cake. Delicious!
Should probably be studyin... but I don't feel like it, really...

The other day at the cafeteria lunchtime: Some friends n I talked about deep-fryin food. Basically it is possible to fry pretty much anything: even Ice-Cream! Yup u heard right. Now just the question: Should we just cuz we can?!
Somehow I wanna say no, but somehow I want to taste it at least haha.
Anyone got a chip pan? R u bold enough?

Samstag: Kino... E., M., C. & Ich haben uns entschieden "Wall Street: Geld schlaeft nicht" zu schauen. Gute Entscheidung wuerd ich sagen :) Auch gut: Eis und ne riesen Menge von Suessigkeiten zum Abendessen haha. Leute wirklich, Nappo ist voll lecker!!
Ansonsten eher ruhiges WE... es war einfach sooo kalt. Ich mag das wirklich nicht.
Ausserdem haben C. (meine Mitbewohnerin) und Ich nen Marmorkuchen gebacken. Lecker!
Sollte wohl studieren... aber ich fuehl mich gerade nich danach, wirklich...

Letztens Mensa zur Mittagszeit: haben ein paar Freunde und ich vom Frittieren von Essen geredet. Theoretisch gesehen ist es moeglich so gut wie alles zu frittieren: selbst Eiscreme! Yup, ihr habt richtig gehoert. Nun aber die Frage: Sollten wir nur da wir es koennen? Einerseits wuerd ich nein sagen, andererseits wuerd ichs auch gerne probieren haha.
Hat jemand ne Friteuse? Bist du mutig genug?

How much do u like the movies???

I do like 'em quite a lot. I mean I love music and movies, so how can I not?! How good is it to watch a movie on a huge screen with the nice surround sound. Even better if it is a "movies movie" like tonite, Inception for instance. To top it all off u watch it with ur friends, especially the one's u've known for a while and haven't seen (well at least some of'em) for over 2 years!! Yap, 2nite was 1 of those nites for me. Pretty awesome I'd say :-) Sometimes one thinks there is a need to catch up after such long time apart...but it's just so sweet to know they are there with u and everyone's doin just fine ^__^ Cuz afterall there is of course the casual talk b4 n after the movie. Also the feeling u have if u know everyone liked it as much as u did (maybe not in this kinda way...but u know...that feeling u get when u know everybody had a good time n u where part of that even after all those years that have passed ;) )
Another thing on my mind: Just got a new cellphone and I can't keep my fingers off. Not that it's that special, but to me it is. Just crazy how things like that keep u occupied for a while, I mean in a few days/weeks it won't be as special anymore; except for some electronics I still hold dear (awesome Laptop even though in technologie years ur probably considered a grandma and my loveliest iPod with my sweet, sweet music). Yup a love note for some of my dearest things haha :P
Don't u tell me there ain't a thing that u don't like urself ;) Thank u inventor of Laptops and of iPods oh let's not forget about the internet (even though there are some disadvantages that tag along with progress, let's cherish the good side ;) )

Ich mag sie sehr. Ich meine, ich liebe Musik und Filme, also wie koennte ich nicht?! Wie toll ist es, einen Film auf einer grossen Leinwand mit dem schoenen Surround Sound zu sehen. Umso besser wenn es ein Kinofilm ist, so wie heute Abend, Inception zum Beispiel. Um noch eins draufzusetzen, sieht man es sich mit seinen Freunden an, besonders denjenigen, die man schon lange kennt und ueber 2 Jahre lang (zumindest einige von ihnen) nicht gesehen hat!! Yap, heute Abend war einer dieser Abende fuer mich. Sehr awesome muss ich sagen :-) Manchmal denkt man, muss man einiges nachholen, nach so einer langen Zeit getrennt...aber es ist einfach so schoen zu wissen, da sie mit dir da sind und alle Spass haben ^__^ Da es letztendlich ja immer noch die lockeren Unterhaltungen vor und nach dem Film gibt. Genau wie das Gefuehl, das man bekommt, wenn man weiss, dass es allen so gefallen hat, wie dir (vielleicht nicht auf die gleiche Art und Weise, aber in etwa das Gefuehl, wenn man weiss, dass alle viel Spass hatten und du warst Teil dessen nach all diesen Jahren;) ).
Ne andere Sache, die mich beschaeftigt: Hab grad n neues Handy bekommen und kann die Finger davon nicht lassen. Nicht, dass es so besonders waere, aber fuer mich ist es. Verruckt, dass solche Sachen, dich fuer ne Weile beschaeftigen, ich meine, in einigen Tagen/Wochen wird es nicht mehr so besonders sein; bis auf einige Elktrogeraete, die ich immer noch fuer besonders halt (super Laptop, auch wenn in Technologien gerechnet, du schon wohl ne Oma waerest und mein liebster iPod mit meiner suessen, suessen Musik). Yup, eine Liebesnotiz fuer meine liebsten Dinge haha :P
Erzaehl mir nit, da gibt's nichts, was dir nicht auch gefaellt ;) Danke Erfinder des Laptops und des iPods, oh und lass uns nicht das Internet vergessen (auch wenn es Nachteile mit dem Fortschritt gibt, lass uns die gute Seite wertschaetzen ;) )
